Diet There are two ways and only two ways of eating. A person either "eats to live" or we "live to eat". Let me explain. If you eat to live. You are of the mind set that food simply is fuel for your body. You understand that your body is like a high performance car and you need to put only the best gasoline into it so it runs at peak performance. Do not fad diet. To truly diet, you need to make a life style change. You need to commit to changing the way you eat. Vegetarian Diet - A purely "vegan" diet is limited to vegetables, fruits and grains. Modified versions may include eggs, dairy products and in some cases, fowl and fish.
Elimination/Rotation Diet - This diet is used when you suspect that you may have a food allergy it involves trial and error. You start by selecting one food that you suspect might be the culprit and eliminate it from your diet. If your condition improves after 4 days, then avoid that food indefinitely. If you don't notice any change in your condition, then that food is not the culprit and you need to eliminate some other food and go through the same process. Continue to forego various foods until you notice results. Now for the rotation part of the diet: By not eating a particular food more than once every 4 days, you will drastically reducing the risk of food intolerance.
High Complex Carbohydrate Diet - This diet's mainstays are potatoes and all types of grains.
High Fiber Diet - Here you'll be eating grains and lots of fruits and vegetables. |
