Therapeutic Foods:

 

The appetite may be stimulated by the following foods, spices and herbs: Bell peppers, mustard greens, green onions, pumpkins, yams, beans, corn, barley, rice, persimmons, potatoes, cilantro, garlic, cinnamon, and ginger.

 

Specific Remedies: Below are some special combinations that may prove beneficial:

 

Tea made from green onions, garlic, and cinnamon or ginger

 

Soup made from pumpkins, yams, beans, potatoes, corn, barley or vegetables

 

"Soupy" rice

 

 

Supplements:

 

Chelated Zinc - 50 mg. 3 x day, with meals

 

Essential fatty acids -  Safflower, flax and olive oils

 

Vitamin B-complex - 75 mgs. or more
