Nutrition for Dysmenorrhea (Painful Period) Dietary Principles:
* Recommended caloric percentages: 75% complex carbohydrates, 15% protein, 10% fat
* Maintain a high fiber diet.
Therapeutic Foods:
Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables, nuts, salmon, herring, mackerel, sardines, walnuts, seed oils, flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil, black currant oil, bland foods, blackberries, beets, blueberries, parsley, and raspberries.

Magnesium - 500-800 mg. 1 x day
Vitamin B6 - 100 mg. 3 x day
Calcium 1000-1500 mg. 1 x day. Take this with a teaspoon of vinegar in 8 oz. of water.
Vitamin E - 1200 I.U. a day (Begin with 200 I.U. a day.)
Vitamin B3 - 100 mg. 2 x day NOTE: THIS WILL CAUSE FLUSHING, SO SLOWLY BUILD UP YOUR INTAKE EACH DAY.
Bromelain: Crush a tab into a little KY jelly, then insert into the vagina.
Magnesium: Always take this mineral with calcium, in a ratio of 2 calcium: 1 magnesium.
