Nutrition for Goiter

Therapeutic Foods and Beverages:

 

Garlic, crab, lobster, ocean fish, seaweed, pineapple,

foods rich in iodine, silicon, phosphorus: Swiss chard, turnip greens, egg yolks, wheat germ, cod roe, lecithin, sesame seed butter, seeds and nuts, raw goat milk, kelp, and dulce.

 

Fresh Juices:  (Try each one until you find a juice that benefits you.)

 

Celery juice, with one tsp. wheat germ and one tsp. dulse

Carrot, celery, spinach, and parsley juice with 1/4 tsp. powdered kelp or      dulse

Carrot and spinach juice with 1/4 tsp. powdered kelp or dulse

Carrot and parsley juice with 1/4 tsp. powdered kelp or dulse

 

 

Specific Supplements:

 

Kelp - One level tsp. a day

 

Potassium chloride with iodine - 3 x day (Sprinkle on food as a salt.)

 

Copper - 2-3 mg. a day

 

Zinc - 25 mg. a day

 

Protomorphogens: Thyroid, pituitary
