Therapeutic Foods:

 

Olives, rye, lima beans, rice bran, bananas, sprouts, watercress, apples, salmon, sardines, olive oil, and beets

 

Fresh Juices: (Try each one until you find a juice that benefits you.)

 

Potato peeling broth

Dried olive tea

Nut milk and liquid chlorophyll

 

Foods to Avoid:

 

Unsaturated fats, meats, and alcohol

 

Specific Supplements:

 

Bromelain - 1,000 mg. 3x day

 

Vitamin C - 3 grams a day

 

Bioflavonoids - 3 grams a day

 

Zinc - 15 mg. a day

 

Vitamin E - 500 I.U. a day

 

Vitamin B6 - 50 mg. 3 x day

 

Selenium - 200 to 300 mcg. a day

 

Max EPA - Take as directed.

 

Specific Remedies:

 

Place beet leaves in a pot of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 20 minutes.  Drink 3 cups a day.

 

If you are allergic to penicillin and have this condition, try eliminating turkey, chicken, pork or any other type of penned animals from your diet. (Some natural food stores sell meat and poultry that is free of hormones and antibiotics.
