Therapeutic Foods:

 

Longan, oyster, rice, rosemary, wheat, wheat germ, mushrooms,

citrus peels, figs, honey, liver-cleansing foods: beets, carrots, artichokes, lemons, parsnips, dandelion greens, watercress, burdock root, turkey, and foods rich in Vitamin C

 

Fresh Juices: (Try each one until you find a juice that benefits you.)

 

Carrot and spinach

Carrot, beet, and cucumber

Lemon juice in warm water

 

Foods to Avoid:

 

Meat, hot sauces, spicy, fried, fatty, and salty foods, sugar and sweets, coffee, teas and colas that contain caffeine, and alcohol

 

Specific Supplements:

 

Lecithin - 3 grams a day

Folate - 1 to 5 mg. a day

 

Vitamin B12 - 1,000 mcg. sublingual, 2 x day for 3 weeks, then 1 x week

 

DL Phenylalanine - Start with 500 mg. a day and work up to 3 or 4 grams

 

Tyrosine - 500 mg. 3 x day

 

Zinc - 25 mg. a day

 

Vitamin C - 3 grams a day

 

Chromium - 200 to 400 mcg. a day
