Nutrition for Psoriasis Dietary Principles:

Any food that produces an intolerance; cyclic oxygenase inhibitors: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, (aspirin, Motrin, Advil, etc.), tryptophan, cyclic GMP stimulators: biotin, ginseng, Vitamin C, and cyclic AMP antagonists like beta-blockers, burdock, echinacea, inula which activate the Alternative Complement System; spicy, fried, fatty, heat producing, processed and refined foods; citrus fruits, animal products, pork, milk, butter, eggs, sugar and sweets, coffee, teas and colas that contain caffeine, and alcohol

Folic acid - 25 mg. 3 x day
Vitamin A - 25,000 I.U. a day
Vitamin B12 - 1,000 mcg., sublingual, 1 x week
Selenium - 200 mcg. a day
Zinc - 30 mg. a day
